Very nice staff and great food

Very nice location of the pension. In the middle of the woods. Surrounded by hiking trails. The landlady is very welcoming and the food is tasty. We felt very well accommodated. And our dogs also had a relaxing holiday. We will not forget the good impression and will come back. ??

Very warm welcome, both for us and for our dog. We were just as enthusiastic about the quiet, romantic location as the comfort of the rooms. It is an old house with charm and character, modern furniture would be absolutely out of place here. We felt very comfortable, our wishes were catered for, be it at breakfast or dinner. In the lounge there are games for bad weather days, and in the evenings the fireplace is on. We were offered towels for our dog and there were water bowls both inside and outside. In the breakfast room there are folders ready for spontaneous hikes, which contain many different hiking routes compiled by guests, from which you can take a copy. We had 3 really great days off, it was like visiting friends. Thanks to the Quik☺ family

Beautifully in the middle of the forest, a small stream flows right past. The cake is delicious and the children get their money's worth too. Very nice landlady. We'll be back and then we'll spend the night in the small hotel. See you soon hold on in this difficult time

The negative reviews refer to the previous owner, so don't let that fool you. Taken over by an enthusiastic Dutch couple in November 2019. We had 2 wonderful nights after a very warm welcome, good breakfast (spacious, no more than adequate) and plenty of tips from the owner for the area, including gastronomy. The fact that there is now no chef should not lead to negative reviews, this is due to the corona crisis and the uncertainties that unfortunately affect the tourism sector. In any case, we say: Gerne wieder!

We were here in June and will definitely come back again. Very, very lovely owners, very delicious food, also vegetarian, absolutely great. Our dogs were received in an incredibly friendly manner, we are delighted.

If you like it quiet and want to hike, this is the right place for you. The old mill was converted into a hotel in 1901, which you can still guess here and there, but the owners are already busy renovating. The owner is very nice and makes sure that the guests want nothing. Thanks and we'd love to come back. ?

First of all, we will be back. In the middle of the forest, on the Wolfsbach, we were guests of the house with our motorcycles. If you are looking for the tranquility of nature, you are absolutely right here. The innkeepers were not only super nice, they also fulfilled culinary wishes. It started in the morning with a lovely breakfast table and ended in the evening with fine delicacies. We have felt very comfortable here. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend.

Great little pension in the middle of the forest. You can start hiking right away. The hosts are incredibly nice and you immediately feel very comfortable. The breakfast is great, there is a special plus for the peanut butter ... ?

Beautifully situated authentic Waldhaus from the year 1700. Enthusiastically received by Leo and Marit, the Dutch owners. We had the best schnitzel in the Harz area. Slept wonderfully in the fresh mountain air with only the sounds of nature. After a nice breakfast we continue our journey. Definitely recommended!

Very hospitable owners. Do everything to make you feel comfortable. Have nice tips to do in the area. Rooms and apartments neat and clean. Are still renovating. Definitely recommended in a beautiful setting!

We stayed here for one night on our hiking tour through the Harz Mountains. The new owners are very nice. Super delicious breakfast !! Unfortunately there is currently no cook, so we went to the place to eat. We keep our fingers crossed that a cook will be found quickly and will be happy to come back.

Our favorite restaurant - new owner and even better than before! The best restaurant far and wide. Cozy & rustic ... Even four adults and four children were not a problem after booking in advance!
